Michaline began her career producing live storytelling events and then transitioned into the documentary world where her films garnered awards at festivals worldwide, including Sundance, Tribeca Film Festival, AFI and Outfest to name a few. Prior to forming InventTV, Babich ran MikeTV which developed projects for major cable outlets. She was an Executive Producer and Showrunner on projects such as Million Dollar Listing, The Rachel Zoe Project, and Nanny 911. In 2016 she started a Creative Accelerator that focuses on female film and TV writers.

Sergio has 20 years of experience in television, overseeing companies as EIC and then President/CEO, producing series and specials such as LA Ink, The Rachel Zoe Project, The Alma Awards and The Wayne Brady Show. For over 10 years he worked on Live Events and Award Shows at Ken Ehrlich Productions on projects such as The Emmy Awards, Opening of The Superdome after Katrina with U2 and Green Day and Elton John Live to name a few. Sergio is on the board of Voto Latino and The Alfaro Do Good Foundation.

In 2008, Jeffrey founded Considered Entertainment. There he produced the Emmy-nominated, Humanitas Prize-winning documentary A Small Act.  Jeffrey also produced Rules Don’t Apply, written and directed by Warren Beatty, and Basmati Blues with Brie Larson. Since 2014, Jeffrey has been Co-CEO of the Los Angeles Media Fund (LAMF),  which is active in film, TV, music, and sports.

Simon has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer specializing in film and technology in both California and the UK. In 2003, Simon served as VP and General Counsel of PriceGrabber, and was involved with the company’s $485M sale. Simon was the CEO of Future Films (US), at the time a major film finance company, where he raised funds and provided structured finance for independent films. Since 2014, Simon has been Co-CEO of the Los Angeles Media Fund, a full-service production and finance company, and is a partner in Beyond Athlete Management, a sports agency.

Patrick has over 30 years of experience in finance, business affairs, strategic planning and investment banking in film, television and related media industries. He has been a senior finance and operations executive for a variety of entertainment companies including HBO, IMAX Corporation, and InterMedia Film/Equities and has had a significant role in the financing, production and distribution of over 50 film and television projects. Murray has a BA, MA and MBA, all from UCLA.

Emma Humphrey has over 20 years in the film and television industry. Her unscripted credits include The Next 15 (TVOne), Flex & Shanice (OWN), Fix My Choir (Oxygen), LA Ink (TLC), BBQ Pitmasters (TLC & Destination America), and the The Rachel Zoe Project (Bravo). Prior to reality, Emma worked on independent features and coordinated countless commercials and music videos.

Rita has hundreds of hours of programming experience working for ABC, NBC, Bravo, Lifetime, OWN, Discovery, The History Channel, BBC America, Nat Geo, Fox Sports 1, MTV and YouTube Premium. Rita’s love of producing, storytelling and collaborating with incredibly talented cast & crew are what drives her. Rita has a degree in Film Production from California State University, is a member of the Television Academy and the Producers Guild of America.

Moe has been in the TV + Film business for 20+ years. He’s traveled the world working on everything from small indie films, to major sitcoms, to award shows and reality shows. Moe is a strong advocate for the Streetlights Program—placing minorities with limited expertise or education in the Entertainment Industry workforce. In his free time, Moe enjoys traveling, spending time with family and anything Star Wars or Marvel Comics related.

Tiffany started her career directing The Dream Street Foundation and has been recognized as a woman who inspires. Her work’s been published by Randi Zuckerberg Media. She worked on developing projects with Morocco Junction Entertainment and MME at All3Media. Alfaro is currently a VP of Talent & New Business at Invent TV and is the Co-Founder of The Alfaro Do Good Foundation.

Following graduation from Emerson College, Kristina became an editing instructor and then quickly moved into reality television and documentary film. For over a decade she has been utilizing her technical and managerial skills to enhance the post experience. She is comfortable on all sides of post, and thrives on making it the smooth process it should be.

Susan joins InventTV after nearly two years working in Development at Trooper Entertainment, a partnership with Lionsgate, where she developed the cast and concept for the series Checked Inn for OWN. Prior to Trooper, Susan served as the Development Coordinator at Wilshire Studios, the unscripted production arm of NBCUniversal

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Joey has been casting hit TV shows for over 10 years and has worked on hit shows for every network imaginable including Bravo, History, TLC, MTV, Lifetime, and Oxygen. He has a passion for connecting with people which helps him identify compelling characters with amazing stories for any project. He is originally from Long Island, New York and has a degree in radio, television and film from the University of Central Florida.

Brett has over 17 years of creative and managerial experience in the news and entertainment industry. Beginning his career as a producer and director of news and commercial content in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara, Brett relocated to Los Angeles to work in Post Production for Reality and documentary programming. He is well versed in all aspects of Post Production and thrives on collaborating with a great team.

A Los Angeles native, Matt started working in television as a production assistant at CBS while studying at USC. First working as a teaching assistant for editing software, he now applies his technical expertise as an assistant editor, working on content for a variety of networks. He is thrilled to lend his expertise to InventTV as the company’s Lead AE.

Jason started his career in the mailroom of an agency, then worked as a talent manager before becoming a screenwriter and producer. Jason worked for several years on Alaska based shows “Deadliest Catch” and “Bering Sea Gold” before coming to InventTV to Executive Produce “Into Alaska.”

Mariana Molla joined the InventTv team in 2018, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in TV production finance. Prior to InventTv, Mariana worked with some of the industry’s top innovators, such as Bunim/Murray, Hearst Corp., 51 Minds, and Electus to name a few. She has worked closely on shows for ABC, NBC, FOX, MTV, VH1, CMT, TLC, BET, TruTV, POP, OWN, NatGeo, CNBC, Facebook, Youtube, Hulu, and Netflix.

Joe graduated from UCLA with a focus on entertainment studies and producing. He brings a multitude of creative, and technical skills to InventTV. For over six years, he has been an integral part of the core team, assisting in development, production and post departments. His roles include executive assistant, development coordinator, editing, sound recording and often works as a shooter/producer on both development and television series.

In 2007, Hilary won Miss Teen USA. As a Ford model she graduated from New York Film Academy with a degree in Acting for film. Her work in production began as assistant to Renato Basile and Ken Ehrlich; Exec. Producers of the Grammy Awards. Hilary is also the onstage trophy model throughout the year for the Emmys, Creative Arts Emmys, Critics Choice, American Music Awards, ALMA’s and Golden Globes.

Robert is a clearance supervisor with ten years experience working with numerous networks and a variety of series for television. He is well versed in all areas of clearance, including music. Robert has been playing drums and sax since he was seven and thirteen. Feel free to ask about his prior life: there are some rockin’ stories to tell.

With an MFA in Film and TV Production from Loyola Marymount University, Andrea has produced a number of short films that have received awards at several festivals around the country. She has traveled around with numerous choirs, singing in some of the world’s most famous locations. Plus, has spent a year as a Tour Guide at Warner Bros Studios. Now she assists in managing the office at InventTV.
